My Angel

He said ...

Because I don't have a Sunday morning meeting today (I get the 2nd week off from meetings with the Bishop and ward leadership meetings), I wanted to add to what I started writing last week about Jaclyn.

Jaclyn is my angel. I think Elder Holland may have described it best in his most recent conference address, "The Ministry of Angels":

"I have spoken here of heavenly help, of angels dispatched to bless us in time of need. But when we speak of those who are instruments in the hand of God, we are reminded that not all angels are from the other side of the veil. Some of them we walk with and talk with--here now, every day. ... Indeeed heaven never seems closer than when we see the love of God manifested in the kindess and devotion of people so good and so pure that angelic is the only word that comes to mind."

Jaclyn fits this description perfectly for me. Her wisdom and insight into life far surpasses mine and I find myself going to her often for advice. She is the person who helps me when I get mired down into frustration. She always has my best interest in mind and wants me to succeed. I feel supported and uplifted when I am around her. I feel so lucky to be with her and be a part of her life.
